Description
The CG flameproof motor features a robust and durable construction, including flameproof enclosures and specially designed sealing arrangements, to contain any potential sparks or flames within the motor’s enclosure.
This prevents the ignition of surrounding flammable substances.
These motors are rigorously tested and certified to meet international standards for hazardous area classification, such as ATEX, IECEx, and other relevant regulations.
Applications
CG Power (Crompton Greaves) Flame Proof Motors are capable of withstanding pressure during an internal explosion so that such an explosion does not vent into the external atmosphere which could also be explosive.
They are also designed to prevent the occurrence of sparks, arcs, or hot spots in service, which avoids any further risk of explosion.
This motors are compatible with Gas group IIA, IIB, I-C and II-C.
